Welcome back to the first tracking of spending of 2023 and the ’24 Presidential Cycle. Until spending really gets moving, which we expect to be around July, Labor Day at the latest, we are going to do these emails monthly. The numbers presented below are from March 1 of this year.

Lets start with TRUMP!

$7,612,867.42 has been spent in opposition to Ron DeSantis by Make America Great Again Inc, the Trump aligned Super PAC being run by Chris LaCivita.

$1,500 has been spent in support of Trump.

Ready for Ron: A Super PAC in waiting for DeSantis, that the DeSantis people have disavowed, has spent:

$900,000 – all of it in opposition to President Biden, which is a little strange that a DeSantis super pac would be spending against Biden when DeSantis needs to get thru the primary first.

OpportunityMatters Fund Action,the Tim Scott aligned Super PAC, has spent:

$350,000 – all of it supporting Sen. Scott

Stand For America Fund, Inc., the Nikki Haley aligned Super PAC has spent:

$344,078.30 – all of it supporting Amb. Haley

Unite the Country – one of the two main Super PACs supporting President Biden, Priorities USA being the other, has announced a $1M spending spree to boosts the President’s reelection announcement.

$275,823.72 – This is what has been spent so far of the $1M.

Priorities USA – Biden supporting Super PAC

$183,183.51 – all pro-Biden

American Exceptionalism PAC – A Super PAC supporting Vivek Ramaswamy, has spent:

$99,250.00 – all supporting Vivek

Never Back Down – the real DeSantis aligned Super PAC, which according to press reports is being run by Jeff Roe of Axiom, has spent:

$64,820.00,$35,820.00opposing Trump and $29,000.00 opposing Nikki Haley

Note the $35K opposing Trump, while Trump world has spent $7.6M opposing DeSantis…

Then House Freedom Fund and Senate Conservative Fund have spent supporting a few conservative House and Senators members but those above are the interesting spends of the month.
