We are officially back in prime Super PAC time. $97,534,307.18 was spent in February by Super PACs which is more than double any other month this cycle. The breadth of spending this month is far wider than any recent month.  IE was spent in 105 different races, which means our party on party violence by Super PACs to get their preferred candidate thru the primary is in full swing.

News of the month, AFP finally quit Gov. Haley, but only after spending $32,741,119.55

supporting her. To date there has been $87,174,054.92 spent supporting Gov. Haley. For perspective, the next closest is Ron DeSantis at $29,660,888.68. That’s a lot of money spent on Haley and from all we can tell, the bank ain’t empty yet as SFA Fund spent another $7,898,612.67 in February.

Lets look at these Haley numbers one more way. $87,174,054 has been spent directly supporting her, but SFA Fund has spent $29,450,891.79 opposing other candidates which brings the grand total of $116,625,945, which equate to roughly 1/4 of all Super PAC spend so far this cycle has gone to supporting Haley’s presidency bid.

These numbers are generated from our one of a kind data platform at 527tracker.com.  If real-time spending alerts would be helpful, or a platform that lets you track spending by race, candidate, or even vendor, come check out 527tracker.com. There is nothing else like it on the market to understand how the billions in IE spending are shaping our elections.
